Grandparents of the North: The Howder's

Yup that's me in the sink of Grandma Georgia and Grandpa George's  motor home. How cool am I?
After the Redwoods we continued North to Oregon where among other things I got to take my first ride in a motor boat. Grandma and Grandpa were fishing and the rest of us were along for the ride, which was a lot of fun! They didn't catch anything (score one for the fishes) but they had fun anyway!
Next time when we go see Grandma and Grandpa Howder we will go South, almost to Yuma Arizona, which I am told is an acquired taste.  Maybe we can go in Spring when the Giants are down there for Spring Training.

Mum! Don't throw me in please!

She didn't do it, she must love me too much!

The Magical Mystical Redwoods

"Go North, Little Knott," they cried. Up to the land of the redwoods. And then keep going up to Grandma Georgia and Grandpa George ()next posting). But first drive and walk through a tree and spend the night in a magical forest dripping dew. And then spend the morning in the Bear Locker (now accepting the award for parent of the month 3 months running...)
Enjoy the pics....

Mum and Da have promised to come back to this magical land when I can appreciate it more.

The Space Between Adventures

Ever wonder what happens between all the great adventures? Well I had my 6 month birthday, or like the cake says .5!

I got my BIG present...A little RED piano! I love it! I am becoming quite well known for my morning recitals.

I didn't even really like my cake. I'm sure it was good ({Its was}) but I just don't know about this whole food thing....
Me and Louis

Fred (the cat) makes me HAPPY!

I've been trying food too and I think these pictures will tell you my opinion of it. For now I'll stick with  my bottle.

Da and I got some Giants gear and he used me as a bat. I loved it!

Granny Carol comes by and spoils me whenever she gets the chance.

Playing hide and seek with my bumper

More to follow...they really are trying to catch you up.

Camping With Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lynn

So hot off the heels of our camping trip to Lotus we went and joined (crashed) Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lynn's vacation. Mum fell in love with Dunsmuir while we were there and wants to go back. I like the cold water, I know Mum and Da think I am crazy ('specially Da, but we all know he and water don't mix so much.

It was super cool though we went on a hike to see the Mossbrea Falls which I am sure I will appreciate later in life. Like I said I just liked the feel of the cold water on my feet. I would giggle and talk to the water like it was my new best friend. I only really liked my feet or hands in it though, Da thought I'd like to sit down...I din't...and I let him know it. But it was alright cos then I got to be nearly naked for awhile.

Then on the hike back from the Falls we got to be REAL close to a train. I slept through it but woke up when Da kicked a piece of iron (go figure). Mom is pretty sure I will like trains when I grow up {wait till you see the pictures of the Train Park where we slept in a caboose!} and she's probably right.

I'd like to say thank you to Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lynn for letting us join them. ({So say we all}) We had a GREAT time!

Love,
Iain
